Pippa Middleton had a memorable wedding which had all of the little hamlet of Englefield locked down in her marriage to millionaire fiance James Mathews. They weren’t the ones to hug the spotlight though, the cute members of Pippa Middleton’s bridal party delivered on their wedding duties and for a moment took the shine off the lovebirds themselves! Prince George, who is a page boy, and Princess Charlotte, a flower girl, arrived with their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, to the small church where the service was conducted, wearing bespoke outfits just for the occasion.
Made by Spanish childrenswear label Pepa & Co, the little cuties had their fashion styles handmade in Spain using British fabrics.
Two-year-old Charlotte was dressed in an ivory silk dress with a dusky pink bow tied at the back. Her designer-label Mary Janes matched the bow and her white tights. The little princess also had a crown to match made with Baby’s Breath and other springtime flowers. Fellow page girls include Countess Philippa Hoyos, Lily French, and Avia Horner.
3-year-old Prince George wore a long-sleeved white shirt with a Peter Pan collar and shiny olive green silk shorts and thick white tights. He, in conjunction with Casimir Tatos, Edward Sebire, and William Ward, carried flower hearts that matched the girls’ headpieces.
The designer of the fashion ensemble Pepa Gonzales was thrilled to have been given such an honor by the royals. She summed up her experience about the rollercoaster ride which was making the royal look the part at Pippa’s wedding.
“It was truly an honor to be part of this project and I was excited to take on the commission for all the bridesmaid and pageboy outfits. The children all look so adorable and cute in their outfits.”
Former Pippa Middleton, now Pippa Mathews wouldn’t mind though, she got her man!
