News filtering in now says that Mike Dubke – US White House Communications Director has resigned. This comes after just three months at the helm and this must have come as a shock to the President Donald Trump-led administration.
Mike Dubke, backed by years of experience as a Republican strategist, was hired by Donald Trump to rebuild the White House media strategy.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer will fill this position in the mean time and this naturally means that there will be fewer media briefings from here on.
Amid reports of disarray in the White House communications team, the reshuffle is thought to be as a result of said disarray.
According to Axios News, a politics website which first reported his exit, Mike Dubke is quitting his former post on good terms and President Trump hasn’t made any comment so far as at press time.
